Support & Troubleshooting
Everything you need to know about setting up and troubleshooting your screen mirroring session.
1. Common Wi-Fi Connection Issues
Issue A: My Smart TV or PC browser shows "Site can't be reached"
This is the most common Wi-Fi routing symptom. Here are the 3 quick fixes:
- Check Same Wi-Fi Network: Make sure your Android phone and your Smart TV / PC are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi router. If your router has separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, ensure they share the same subnet or connect both to the 5 GHz band.
- Disable "AP Isolation" / "Client Isolation" on Router: Some modern routers (especially guest networks) enable "Access Point Isolation", which prevents Wi-Fi devices from seeing each other. Log into your router admin panel and turn off AP Isolation or Client Isolation.
- Check Port Number: Ensure you included the port
:8080at the end of the IP address (for example:http://192.168.1.15:8080).
Issue B: The video is smooth, but I don't hear any audio
- Toggle Audio in App: Make sure "Stream Audio" toggle is turned ON in Local Cast before starting the broadcast.
- Check Browser Audio Policy: Many web browsers (like Chrome and Safari) automatically mute video streams until the user clicks on the page. Look for an "Unmute" speaker icon in the browser receiver controls.
Issue C: How can I minimize latency for gaming or fast videos?
- Use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequency on your router rather than 2.4 GHz.
- In Local Cast settings, select "Balanced (720p 30 FPS)" or "Eco" if your router bandwidth is crowded.
- Ensure Hardware H.264 Acceleration is enabled in app preferences.
